Agricultural waste

Agricultural waste can be divided into two main groups – plant and animal waste. Vegetable waste can be classified as waste that remains during harvesting, storage and processing: straw, husks, bagasse, cake, pulp, stillage, vegetable oil residues, wastewater treatment waste from the production of oil and fat products, sludge from food production, products that have lost their consumer value. properties.

Livestock waste includes waste from poultry, pigs, cattle, horses and other animals, and residues from the production of meat and dairy products. This is mainly manure, manure drainage, manure sludge, litter, bedding materials (straw, peat, sawdust), residues and products that have lost their consumer properties from the dairy, fish and meat industries.

The most dangerous, from an environmental point of view, is waste of the second type. When manure and animal droppings are stored in special areas, during biochemical reactions, harmful, foul-smelling gases, as well as various hazardous substances, are formed. Effluents generated at storage sites, getting into groundwater and reservoirs, worsen the environmental situation, with all the ensuing consequences.

Using AGI Tech technology, it is possible to process agricultural waste into marketable products.
